Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce prototype of augmented reality platform for accessing contextual information in real time using indoors location system. Using this platform, object and environment can be augmented with related information queried and restricted by the location and view direction. We designed our own solution of indoor location system based on signal measurement of Wi-Fi devices (Access Points) in local network. For the best accurate projection of contextual data and models, without the need to use markers, we use algorithms for edge detection and object recognition. All of these technics together serve for rendering information in real-time as accurately as possible.
